		<description>Although I do not currently own a netbook, I do know what I would like to have as far as specifications are concerned and long battery life is at the top of my list. To me, the definition of a netbook is a compact laptop with long battery life and it would seem that manufacturers are slowly yet surely decreasing battery life in order to put large hard-drives and faster processors into their so called netbooks, hoping that  they will be powerful enough to run Windows 7 when Windows XP is finally retired. 

Personally, I&#039;d prefer an ARM machine with a solid state drive running Linux. Now that would be a power saver.</description>
