VLC 1.0.0 has been released!
And finally, my favorite multimedia player has reached version 1.0
I’ve been a VLC user for a long time, it works great on all platforms. I use it to listen to music and watch videos.

Wow, thanks much for sharing this info, I am also a big fan of VLC for years!! Oh and maybe just one not-so-important note: for those who prefer a variant of the program without the installer (I call this type of program a “non-setup” program) over the variant that requires installation procedure, go to this page and see below where it says: “Windows 7zip (identical to the above but without the installer)” (of course, that’s a link only for Windows OS)
